This bike is just so much fun and really is so user friendly on the streets. The sheer torque delivery means that you don’t spend your days shifting through the box, even in the wrong gear – you simply open up and the bike does the rest. Braking from Brembo’s Stylema calipers, and suspension are quite simply, superb. Exactly what you expect from a bike like this. Photo: S. Romero One little niggle is the fact that for 2020, the fuel tank, at 16 litres is 2 less than the old model – we did about 200 KM’s on a tank, so you’ll need to keep an eye on the fuel metre… but that’s a small thing on a barrel of fun like this… Conclusions: KTM’s Bad Boy is a lot of fun. But you already knew that. Some riders we have chatted to seem to think that the Super- Duke R is perhaps just – well too much. And it isn’t. Fast or slow it is a really refined user friendly bike – a bike that you can use to work and back in the week – and blitz the tracks on the weekend. Go and ride one yourself. We’re pretty sure you’ll agree… Bike Specs...
