E2 Results: In E2,

E2 Results: In E2, Sherco’sWade Young took the win from row 6 on the grid. We expected nothing less. “A solid weekend racing at the first round of the SA Enduro national. Managed P1 overall big thanks to the people backing me. Was a big push all the way to end battling with @travisteasdale69” GasGas’ Travis Teasdale took the fight to Wade - and what a fight it was! He was bested by only 44seconds. What we are seeing is a new and improved version of Travis and we look forward to watching him overseas this year. “Big day in the office , enjoyed every minute , things are going well and loving these race days.” “Congrats @wadeyoung55 on the win - we worked . A big thanks goes out to Graham Hedgecock and the commission for the effort you guys put into the route.” Wade Young takes a leap. In a solid third, GasGas’ Matthew Green once again showed his professionalism. Yamaha’s Luke Walker had tough day at the office. 4th overall and he bagged some good points, watch this rider! Two notable DNF’s: Husqvarna’s Brett Swanepoel fell ill and could not finish the race. Knowing Brett, the current E2 champ will be back. Kyle Flanagan was out after a racing accident. You can bet that the Former E1 and E2 champ will be back with a vengeance! E1 Results: Bradley Cox took the win in E1, with a third overall. Cox Junior has come of age, you can expect a big season. You’d have seen on our social media pages and in our interview, that Bradley is also getting ready for a Dakar attempt. He has entered the Andaluccia rally. He needs your support to make it happen. You all met Heinrich Aust when we interviewed him during last years lockdown. He had a great race and we are pretty sure that there are big things to come. Husqvarna made a good move signing him up. In third place, KTM rider Stefan Van Deventer made a great return from illness and injury. They grow them tough down there! Watch this space. The talented Calvin Calow (GasGas) placed fourth: “It was a tight race, between myself and @stefanvdeventer_41, as we were neck and neck throughout the day. However, I am really happy with my 4th place finish in the E1 class, especially after a nasty crash.” Judging by this lot – it’s going to be a great season.
